Brunch and tacos are two very important things to us wrecks, so we recently checked out Gringo's brunch in Jersey City. The taqueria offers traditional Mexican dishes with a contemporary twist and pairs them with delicious spring cocktails. This place also has a stellar tequila selection - yes, please!
You can sit outside at picnic tables or inside this vibrant, fun and welcoming space. The menu offers a wide variety of Mexican-style brunch options served from 11:00am - 3:00pm, like Huevos Racheros and Churro French Toast.

Here are our go-to top #wreckmendations:
Start with Dem Nachos (warm house chips, three cheese blend, pickled jalapeños, green onion, serviced with quac, pico and sour cream)
Chicken and Waffle Tacos (warm tortillas, crispy homemade battered chicken tender, chili honey butter, burnt maple syrup)
We Found Nemo (crispy bass fish, mango slaw, salsa verde, chili-lemon mayo
Pig Out (twice-cooked Berkshire pork, house pickled jalapeños, red onions, salsa verde, cerna)
Classic Corona bottle or Punchbowl (Beet the Piñata with tequila or Bad Hombre with rum)

Don't forget to check out Gringo's dinner menu which is out of this world as well with dishes like Chili Rubbed Churrasco Steak, Octopus Tacos, SUPER Cheese dip, Stuffed Jalapeños and tequila and mezcal samplers. Not to mention, they serve cocktails in Capri Sun style pouches!
Gringo's Jersey City is located at 12 Coles Street. There's also a Staten Island location at 8 Navy Pier Ct.
